Data removal & retention
For Rollingin, developed by Kshitij Sharma under Kshitij Works.
Removing an employee from active enrollment does not erase all their data. Please review the retained records and external copies below before selecting a removal action.
If you are an employee
Contact the administrator of the workplace using the attendance tablet. Explain which records you want reviewed, corrected, or removed. The organization controls the tablet and any exports or synced copies. The developer cannot access or erase those records remotely.
Remove an employee from active enrollment
A Super Admin can select the employee under Employees, choose Delete User, and confirm.
- Enrollment capture descriptors are deleted.
- Face profiles, including aggregate embeddings and thumbnails, remain stored but inactive.
- Current work details become inactive and employment is ended.
- Historical recognition scans and attendance remain. The employee identity is retained when historical records refer to it.
This is an operational removal process, not an individual full-erasure control.
Erase the local application data
A Super Admin can use the app’s factory reset to erase the local database, operator accounts, settings, and face-engine caches. The device/site identity record remains.
Factory reset affects the entire workplace installation, including other employees and operators. It is not a targeted deletion of one employee. If you need guidance before resetting, contact app support.
Delete external copies separately
Employee removal and factory reset do not remove:
- Full backups, analysis ZIPs, and reports already saved in public Documents.
- Encrypted Google Drive/document-provider backups.
- Information already synced to the organization’s cloud server.
- Reports shared through email, WhatsApp, or other applications, including copies held by recipients.
The administrator must arrange removal from the relevant storage locations and recipients. Retaining and later restoring a backup can reintroduce records that were removed locally.
Local operator accounts
Super Admin and Manager authentication is local; there is no developer-hosted online account to close. Factory reset removes local operator accounts together with the installation’s other application data. Previously exported full backups may still contain usernames and hashed credentials.
Request assistance
Email contact@kshitijworks.com for help understanding these controls. Include the app version and whether your question concerns local data, a backup, or an external copy. Do not attach biometric data, passwords, or employee records.
A support email requests guidance; it does not trigger remote deletion. Records retained by the app have no fixed automatic expiry and remain until an applicable reset or removal operation occurs. Your workplace may have additional retention obligations and policies.
