Rollingin support

Rollingin is an Android workplace kiosk app developed by Kshitij Sharma, under Kshitij Works. The app is preparing for Google Play.

For troubleshooting, include the app version, tablet model, Android version, and a description of what happened. Please omit employee face images, biometric backups, passwords, and other personal records from an initial support email.

Attendance and recognition

Face recognition and normal attendance workflows run on the tablet. The app includes guided enrollment and face quality checks. If recognition is unreliable, ask your workplace administrator to review the enrollment and camera setup.

Accounts and access

Super Admin and Manager accounts are local to the tablet. If password recovery has been configured, the app uses your organization’s SMTP server to send a one-time PIN to the Super Admin’s recovery email. The developer does not operate a remote account service for these local accounts.

Backups and data transfer

A full encrypted .faceid backup contains biometric and business records, including hashed operator credentials. Optional Cloud Sync and encrypted .faceid-cloud backups exclude face data and operator accounts. Keep backup passphrases and exported files under your organization’s control.

Employee records and removal

Contact the administrator of the workplace using the tablet to request changes to employee records. The developer cannot directly access or erase records on that tablet or on the organization’s server.
